Session Length
Each time slot is 3 hours long.

Age Requirements
We suggest you be at least 12 years old to play! If you would like to bring a younger player/s it’s at parents/guardian discretion.

Booking
You can book straight through our website. Bookings start four weeks in advance and while you can book closer to the date, we recommend booking as soon as possible to ensure that you have the session time you want.

Payment
Bookings are paid in full at the time of the booking. All sales are final. All transactions made by Credit Card are subject to ID verification. We reserve the right to take a photograph of the ID for internal verification purposes only. ID must be government-issued and match the name on the card used.

Walk-Ins
We do accept walk-ins but we strongly suggest booking your time-slot beforehand. If a session is fully booked you may be denied entry.

When to arrive
Please arrive 30 minutes before your booking to make time for instructions and set-up!

Add/Drop Players
You can manage your booking online, or reach out to us by phone, email or in person at the facility.
Keep in mind that the maximum amount for a single session is 30 players and that for a private session you will have to meet the minimum player requirement.

Dress Code
Please wear closed-toed shoes, pants & a shirt so that you don’t get hurt.

Parking
There is street parking only.

Game Rotations
Games during sessions work in rotations with a maximum of 3 groups and up to 30 players per group. Each game takes around ten minutes to complete and resting time takes place in-between rotations. You are guaranteed 3 games per session as long as you follow instructions and check in on time.

Food, Drinks & Alcohol
No outside food or drinks are allowed, but we do serve some food. Check out our menu here. Absolutely no alcohol is allowed on-site, including party rooms.

Brand of Paint
G.I. Sports & Valken. Minimum grade – “field paint”. You must use arena paint. We can store leftover paint that was purchased at the facility for up to 90 days if the bag is closed.

Markers
BYOG: .50 cal markers only with a 280fps limit, contained in a bag. You will be refused service if you show up with a marker outside of a bag.
Rentals: GOG Enmey, Tippmann TMC mag-fed, Umarex TR50. -
Game Modes
We have capture the flag, king of the hill, team deathmatch, lights out and more.

Arena Cleanup
We clean the field weekly, not between the games. It is a Paintball arena so we cannot guarantee a clean field between the games.

Cleanup
While we clean up the main playing arena, you are responsible to clean up any food or drink you brought into the seating area when you are done. Any leftover messes may be subjected to a cleaning fee.

Rescheduling
If you find yourself in a situation where you need to reschedule, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us as soon as possible. While we will do our best to accommodate your request, we don’t guarantee availability or accommodation. Late rescheduling may incur additional charges.

Facility Buyout
Contact us at groups@area53nyc.com or by phone and we can let you know the exact prices for renting out the entire space for your event. This is the only way to get the entire space to yourself, otherwise, the space will be on rotation with other private games, if booking private games, or with public games, if booking public games.

Party Rooms
Party packages can be booked online. The party room will be available for 2 hours and 30 minutes for a 3-hour paintball session. The room will be given to the group 15 minutes after their session starts, and must be vacant 15 minutes before the session ends. If conditions allow, participants will be allowed to enter the room earlier for decorating, etc, or stay longer. Please plan accordingly and communicate any needs or requests with your party host as early as possible.
